Financing Options

The program is set up so that you can qualify as a full-time student for purposes of these programs. Consult the Executive Director for details.

• Federally Insured Student Loan. Stafford Loans are readily available with a VERY EASY ONLINE APPLICATION PROCESS WITH NO CREDIT CHECK. You can receive up to $18,500 per year, $8,500 of which may be interest free or interest subsidized. If you are even thinking about any type of loan or financial aid, it is highly recommended that you immediately complete the online Federa l FASFA form. (Use School Code 001481 for FAU.)

  The application is immediate and 100% online. This form takes about 2-3 weeks to process. The federal government will notify FAU when you are approved. Then, later, FAU will certify the cost of your education and notify the Federal Government that you are registered, triggering the financial aid award letter, other documents, and the disbursement of the funds. Note: If you are applying within one month before classes begin,  you should also consider the low-interest, no-fee student loan described below, which can be completely processed online in 30 minutes.
   

• Low-Interest, No-fee Student Loans.We now have a special program for our students,  and it's possible to apply over the web and obtain complete approval for a low-interest, no-fee student loan in only 30 minutes. You can apply anytime, even up to the first week of classes! This is an excellent financial aid program. Click here for details, and here to apply now for your financial aid. (Note the CitiAssist web site also contains information about the Stafford Loan. Be sure not to confuse this with the CitiAssist low-interest, no-fee student loan, which is also available on the web site.)
• Corporate Partnership Program. This program covers all the student's direct expenses, such as tuition, fees, and books.  Pre-approval takes only 5 minutes on the telephone. Requires employer participation:
  • You complete the program in 2 years with a SallieMae loan. After graduation, your employer pays all or part of your loan over 3 years, as long as you keep working for the same employer. Your employer gets to keep you for 5 years, and you get the degree! But if you do change jobs, you may negotiate your new employer into picking up the payments. (Note: the loan portion of this program is called "MBA" loans, but it's also approved for the Executive Masters of Taxation.)
  • 90% pre-approval rate, in only 5 minutes.
• Private Student Loans. Pre-approval takes only 5 minutes, and can be done over the telephone. No payment until after graduation. Same as the Corporate Partnership Program but without employer participation. (Note: this program is called "MBA" Loans, but it's also approved for the Executive Masters of Taxation. Also, sometimes FAU may not appear on the list of schools on the MBA Loan web site. If you don't find FAU on the list, then call them at the number given and they will take your application over the phone.
• Credit Card Payments.We accept credit cards (Master Card, Visa, and Discover) for all payments. Click here for the credit card form form (in Adobe format). You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader program.
